We begin with a 45-minute assessment. No questionnaires — a real conversation about where you are, what you've tried, and where you want to be in 18 months. We map your existing knowledge, identify blind spots, and define your learning temperament.
Pathway Architecture
Based on the diagnostic, we design a sequenced course pathway. This isn't a reading list — it's a dependency-aware plan. Each course feeds into the next, building competency in the right order. We select from accredited providers, open platforms, and specialist institutions.
Guided First Module
You begin your first course with weekly check-ins from us. We troubleshoot comprehension gaps, adjust pacing, and ensure you're absorbing — not just completing. If the course isn't right, we pivot early.
Independent Phase with Milestones
You work through the middle portion of your pathway independently, but with defined milestones. Every two weeks, we review progress, adjust the plan if needed, and ensure momentum is maintained. This is where most self-learners stall — our structure prevents that.
Capstone & Credential Assembly
The final phase focuses on completing any capstone projects, sitting examinations, and assembling your credentials into a coherent professional narrative. We help you articulate what you've learned in terms employers and clients understand.
Post-Completion Review
Six weeks after your pathway ends, we reconnect. Has the learning translated into opportunity? Do you need a follow-on pathway? This session is included — because learning doesn't stop at the last certificate.

How We Select Courses
Our selection criteria include: credential recognition (does it count?), pedagogical sequence (does it build correctly?), time-to-completion realism (can a working adult finish it?), and employer signal strength (will it register on a CV?).
We also track which courses have changed their content recently, which have outdated material, and which have hidden prerequisites. This institutional knowledge is what separates a Lighthouse pathway from a Google search.

No. We are course planners, not course providers. We assess, sequence, and support — the teaching comes from the platforms and institutions we recommend. Think of us as the architect, not the builder.

We'll evaluate whether it fits into a coherent pathway. Sometimes a course you've started is the right foundation; sometimes it's a detour. Either way, we'll incorporate your existing progress into the plan.

Yes. Many of our clients use Springboard+, Skillnet, or employer L&D budgets. We can help you build a proposal that demonstrates the value of your chosen pathway to a funding decision-maker.

Sessions are 25 minutes via video call, scheduled at your convenience. We review what you've completed, discuss any difficulties, and adjust the pathway if needed. Notes from each session are shared with you afterward.

If after the diagnostic session you feel the service isn't right for you, we'll refund the full amount minus a €35 administrative fee. Once pathway work has begun, partial refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

By using the Lighthouse Course Plan website and services, you agree to these terms. Our services consist of educational pathway planning, course recommendation, and learner support sessions. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, course completion, or credential attainment — these depend on your effort and the policies of third-party course providers.
Fees are payable in advance for the selected pathway tier. Refund terms: full refund minus €35 administration fee if cancelled before pathway work begins; partial refunds assessed individually after work has commenced.
All pathway documents, recommendations, and session notes are provided for your personal use and may not be redistributed commercially. Intellectual property in our methodology, selection criteria, and pathway frameworks remains with Lighthouse Course Plan.
We reserve the right to decline service if we determine our offering is not a good fit for your situation. In such cases, any prepayment will be refunded in full.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be resolved through mediation before litigation.
